Back in the day, when there was a fire breathing, child eating Japanese Akita on the loose. There was only one man for the job. He would turn out in his council Ford Escort dog warden van, armed only with a pole noose. Who ya gonna call…….

I'll trust a guy in flip-flops with a coat who is prepared to handle an alligator before I'll trust any police "officer".
 
Aligators are much easier to handle when they've been pacified with a .44 magnum. A simple, high speed injection carefully placed renders them completely docile. It doesn't matter what you wear to administer the treatment and you can do anything you like with them afterwards, such as turn them into very stylish shoes and belts, or a nice handbag for the lady person in your life.

Honestly?

Would you really want to be seen in public wearing shoes with a "made from Greta Thunberg" label on them?

Or with your lady person touting a bag proclaiming "made entirely from recycled JSO protestors"?

Seriously uncool. Everyone would think you were an ecomentalist.

Whereas if you were wearing a man-eating aligator as a hat everyone would think you were Crocdile Dundee. Much better cred.

Any item of footwear with the label, 100% Made from Marxists, would be footwear I'd be proud to wear anywhere, for any occasion. I stop short from believing they should be made mandatory but I believe the market would quickly decide that they become de rigeur and hip. Especially once the secondary effects begin to be felt.

It's all very well repurposing existing Marxists in this way until they've all been used up. Obviously that would be a very good thing. But if made-from-lefties footwear became popular they may start intensively rearing Marxists specifically for the footwear industry. Some might escape and wreak havoc or they may be deliberately released into society by anti-human footwear saboteurs. That happened with farmed mink and wild boar.
You could argue that universities are already rearing Marxists under intensive conditions and I would suggest we start the cull there. But having gone to all that trouble to cleanse society it would be a terrible risk to have it repopulated by escapees from factory farms.

I suggest a limited production run to use up the current supply (get em quick: when they're gone they're gone). This would confer a degree of exclusivity for wearers.

You could factory-farm keep the Marxists in gulags special facilities where they are skinned alive humanely raised and harvested after a long, miserable carefree life spent in extreme agony gambolling in fields of green. Still working on some of the fine detail here.

But your idea works, too.
