Ever since the V4 pani came out, I've not been a fan. It's not because I've ridden one or it's pre efforts is the pani range but solely on it's looks. To me it has always looked gash. A quite bloated middle and an after thought back end. Looking through the ebay/bike trader ads this morning and it became more obvious why
The pre v4's were porportional, balanced and seemed more to flow in looks. The V4's seem in looks, to be heavily bloated in the middle and then when they got to the seat, looks like they did a street build answer to what do we do with the seat, hold on a minute, I've got an old gixxa seat unit in the garage from my bandit street bike, that'll do. Then they realised that they needed a number plate holder so stuck on a plastic shovel.
I know looks are subjective and the v4's are probably a freat ride for some but part of owning a ducati is the look and in the pani group, the pre v4's for me are what a pani should look like.
