I was going to do the same myself, but was tempted by the quicker solution of a £200 used lifting bike bench of Ebay.
I'm beginning to wish I'd continued with Plan A like yours, as a pallet lift goes so much lower than the Bike lift bench, and getting the bike on and off is always a traumatic moment.

Not as yet, though my son is temporarily staying upstairs until life gets back to a new normal at uni. He loves it. Still some work needed and the outside has yet to be paved but it's coming along. I'm adding a few more creature comforts and tech into the garage plus the new oak doors which will replace those the builder originally priced into the contract which are basically only fit for firewood, and exactly the fate awaiting them. Contemplating a beer fridge and TV but that's way down the list right now.Good to see you again top, anyone moved into the flat above it yet

Ducati's are choss but there's really nice Jap bikes as well, this bike was as big a game changer as the 851 and the ltd you have is up there with an SP3 in my unobtanium fleet!! You is a lucky boy!! Ah - but do u ride it?
