Tip for Today

Yesterday we went with my brother to pick up my nephews stock car engine. A piece of a piston landing and ring broke in one of the cylinders last fall ending the race season a little early. He had enough points and still finished as rookie champion for his class so it wasn't a big deal. The engine builder did the repairs and was in the area dropping off engines so it was convenient timing.
Went home and took a much needed nap. Then we put down a new replacement garage floor covering/mat for my parking spot. It keeps the snow melt and rain runoff from becoming a big mess. Afterward we turned on the Olympics while making Swedish Meatballs for dinner today with family. There are a lot of competitors from Minnesota that we follow. Curling is one of those games that you don't hear much about. It is a big deal here. We watched some of that on Friday night. We're also watching Jordan Stolz in speedskating. He is from neighboring Wisconsin.
Finally we had a little time left to make lobster for our Valentine's dinner.
@Chizel I didn't think Paul and I were exchanging gifts so I had only bought him a card. However, on Friday I took some time to set up a wi-fi extender in his garage so he now has internet and can watch his new TV out there. When I came in the house there was a card and flowers on the counter. I gave him the card and told him the extender and set up was my gift. He was good with that.

Big tv, loads of vehicles, all in the garage? If he gets a beer fridge too, you'll never get him out of there

That's okay.

Be a couple of weeks as it was femur and dog is not impressed but I enjoyed the pain relief a lot 😂
The dog will get over it, glad you enjoyed the drugs. I had ketamine while they re-set the bottom of my fib and tib and it was fantastic. I was totally blacked out and felt no pain at all but could hear everything being said and the machine which kept going "bing" every few seconds then when I came round it was like I'd had about 15 pints of strong beer and I was incapable of forming a single word but within 20 mins I was stone cold sober and no hint of a hangover whatsoever.

I was spanked out on the green whistle
Thing then morphine which was ace as it unlocked my inner Janis Joplin
