Looking down at the ice, a few steps outside the ice house door. I think these would look cool as a wallpaper.
All the lines are cracks going down through the ice. It is 27" thick so we are fine-

Taken from outside, reflection shows the palm tree and the sunset. Inside is our TV, we're watching the Superbowl.

Unfortunately fishing has been terrible. Caught a few small perch. Otherwise they just won't bite. It did warm up today so it was nice to get outside for awhile.
Cool, love your pics! Which halftime did you watch?😁

Tip for Today

Thanks!
We watched Bad Bunny. Since I have been learning Spanish, it was a good lesson in listening. I am also a fan of Latin style music and don't mind him at all.
I forgot about the other one...would have liked to hear Bawitdaba. I don't much care for country music and don't feel like I missed much.

Today I had a call from Virgin Cable as my deal was about to have it's yearly increase to £81.50
I get a TV package including TNT sport and Fibre Internet.
They have upped my speed to +350mbs minimum, added Sky Sports and given me Netflix for £80 a month on a two year fixed deal.
They also give me a free O2 sim which I don't need as I am with O2 through Tesco and he just said a family member can use it - whorra load of twaddle 🤷‍♂️
He said the direct devit will split into 2, one from Virgin and one from O2 totalling £80 - what's that all aboot 👀

Can I log in to Netflix at my apartment and leave it for customers for the next two years? Never used it before

I got a similar deal when I recently moved but mine is under £50 pm but no sky sports.
I was paying nearly £100 at the last house. 🙄

Stepdaughter has a 2018 Citroen DS7 Crossback on a PLP, and after 3 years is about to hand it back.

One of the headlights (drivers side) has developed a fault with the "active" bits (rotating LED modules), and she knows that when she takes the car back, she will be charged for a new headlight (sealed units).

From Citroen, the price is an eye-watering :-

Citroen DS7 Cross Back 2017-2022 Headlamp

Original price was: £2,158.82 now .£1,727.05

There are used ones galore from breakers on EBay which range from £300-£970, but all have broken fitting brackets - presumably Citroen designed them so they cannot be removed intact....

Can you 3d print the fitting brackets and glue/weld them to make it work?

Lightly crash it into something that breaks the headlight and get it done on the insurance. It'll add a few quid to her insurance over the next 5 years, but at least it'll spread the cost

Just catching up with everyone’s lives and I’ve only 2 things to add,

couldn’t stay too long as dog doesn’t like being on his own and he was sat in the drivers seat with the window partially down and the car alarm going off

When you lock the car with the dog inside double press the lock button on the key fob. The first press locks the car the second press, if done straight away, disables the interior motion sensor - handy for when kids or animals are left in a car.

You’ll probably also find that a long press and hold on the lock button will close any open windows.

If I bought all the tobacco he would give me the 90 litre of spirit for free, £6500 for the lot is flipping cheap

Have you considered why it is so cheap - and crucially how you’re going to offload it and make a profit.

I will Try that thanks Paul next time the snot machine is in the car 😂 I very rarely leave him
In the car and only for minutes if I have to pop in a shop.
I couldn’t care less if the car got stolen but I worry when he’s in it. That’s why I had the assistant at the guitar shop watch the car whilst I was shopping xx

Depends on the car, some have a button up by the mirror to disable intrrnal motion sensor, the handbook or Google is your friend 👍

Is that fingering correct on the Bb chord Dod? The open high e string adds an e note to it.
Bear in mind I’m a lefty and tab confuses me as it’s arse about face to me.
The Bb5 is and awful chord that’s played like an open A but on the third fret.
It sounds out of tune massively but when you listen to the song that’s how it is.
My guitar teacher said on its own it sounds terrible and I concur.
Dave Bowie was a bit strange especially as he was the man that sold the world

I will phone Porsche and let them tell me if the button trick doesn’t work xx

I’m assuming all VW group cars have the same alarm/immobiliser systems - could be wrong though, it’s happened before - just the once 😂
