What have you done on your bike today?

Would you be riding more carefully if you didn`t have traction control though ?

If the airbags on steering wheels were replaced with spikes I suspect there would be fewer accidents . Less tech, less protection etc possibly = safer riding and driving.

Some of the times it's helped have been pretty benign. A couple of times it's saved me embarassment and a paint job at under 10mph joining the one way system in town.

I always wear full gear (unless I'm just literally going round the block to dry the bike off after a wash) - I've fuck all sympathy for those dicks on youtube pulling wheelies in t-shirts.

Anything that keeps me in one piece while not spoiling my enjoyment is worth having.

To answer your question - I'd probably ride slower without them. My ABS light is on on the Speedie so I definitely take that into consideration until it's in for it's service, given what happened to my brother when his ABS light was on.

When was that bud ? How was he ?

Was back in '21 - his ABS light came on in Bamburgh so we said we'll cross to BMW Carlisle to get them to check it. Did a couple of tests to try and lock it up at low speed but couldn't.

On the A69 we were in a contraflow on the opposite carriageway, he was about 5 cars ahead of me going through the roadworks.

As we rejoined our own carriageway the roadworks finished at the same point, and he pulled out to pass the cars infront thinking it was still dual carriageway. A truck came round the bend, he grabbed the brake and it locked up - he'd be doing about 80 at that point - I just saw him go down then the bike bounce off the front of the truck. For a couple of seconds I thought he'd gone under the wheels - it's amazing how your brain speeds up in an accident...I was thinking "I'm going to have to tell his wife and she's down in London - I wonder if I've got her number in my phone". Then he jumped to his feet, which was a relief.

Another truck ran into the back of the one in the pick aswell.

Just bruises...a lot of them. Nothing broken.

Glad it somehow ended with him jumping to his feet, they should of all bought a lottery ticket.(y)

So any personal experience with any of these? Which one would you buy for a bit of 2 stroke green lane funView attachment 160236
Not done off roading since i was in my early 20s so know nothing about those but CFMOTO do off roaders and a good price.

The son starting out with his first bike has given me a little kick in the hole so today I finally put a set of tyres on the kwacker in anticipation of good weather... this is the first time in 3 years it's been out of the garage... it needs a good clean and check over before I get to ride another dream bike of my youth .. I was 20 when this bike first hit the roads 👌

Wow, he was lucky by the look of that!
Forgot to use the ferry?
😂
Totally over my head that one...
😂😂

My opinion is based on advice I was given from a pro. Buy the one with the best resale as you may not want it after a month or two. Stupidly I went and bought a desert x. It is too big for me with bad resale…
