Hasn't even got tyres on it ... the last 2 summers ive spent so much time away i never got it road ready. I'm grounded for a little while as the wife is having hip replacement surgery on the 12 Feb so it's on my to do list while im stuck at home . It's disgraceful I've haven't put tyres on it after all the work I put into the refurbishment bit it's a symptom of never being stuck for a finished bike with the other 7

If the missus is going to be home doing nothing, why can't she sort the bike out?

I get irrationally jealous of other countries bank holidays 😐
I feel for you Dox, you’re always hard at work…..

A little too much knowledge on display there, Duke
Would you Adam & believe it he lived down the road from me at one stage and I met him a few times while I was in my teens . From memory I`d just got my Suzuki AP50 ,I think he had a Yamaha 125 as he was a little older and not stuck at 50cc and he was friends with someone I knew through bikes. He went by the name of Paddy Sharpin back then, all prior to him becoming King of the Mullets.

I feel for you dude. That's absolutely shocking. I'll call Bono and see it he can do Skitz Aid. Stay strong you warrior

Silly. That's not me. That's a Merkin trying to look like an Aussie. I've never been to Merika. Could be @Loz
tbf my first thoughts were a young Loz or Wayne, or even @JAT back in the day' - it was the white leather boots that threw me, I guess there must have been 2 pairs around in the 80's 😮

After a series of very disappointing attempts, my new back tyre is on the Baby GS. By Big Mo, that was an unpleasant drama. Enough said, never speak of this again..

So today I went to the Farm Shop on my brand new road-biased rear tyre (by choice, I spend much more time on tarmac than off it, so it makes sense). Good timing on that, the road I normally use was closed so I assumed that the customarily flooded section was worse than usual.
Well, the Baby GS can't read road signs (neither can I) so down the lane we went. Gravel everywhere and the flooded section covered the entire width of the road in some depth. Turns out though, there was a bit of the road that could be traversed without the water getting in through the exhaust, so all good.

A couple of van drivers plus a larger lorry wasn't scared of a bit of water either but no regular car was getting through and I suspect no Ducati would, either.

Please rate this post "Drama Queen" to show you've read this and that you were secretly intimidated. For myself, I had fun :D
