Like everything, it was sooooo much less clinical in those days and all the better for it in many ways. Much more about man and his machine than multi million corporate team setup. The only welcome change really is the improvement in clothing and track safety which has probably saved dozens of lives and severe injuries, no more patching up torn leathers with duct tape like they did in the 70's/ 80's.

Is that a Rob North Trident with letter box fairing? That triple sounded brilliant.
I believe it is. At the Stafford show they have a section where they start up classic race bikes as you probably all know.
The Rob North Trident nearly blew my ears off, incredible sounding bike.
