Editing Profile

You should have full editing rights of your profile, after all it's yours, not someone else. Simply click on your user name at the top right and when the pop-up box has opened up click on which ever section it is you wish to edit.

The only aspect of your profile you cannot edit is your User Name. If you require this to be changed please just ask and one of the admin team will do it for you.

If you do end up with a name change, do you still have to sign in with your old name or will the new name auto accept as the sign in?

are you signing in with your user name or your email address? If the latter then continue to use it, if the former I believe the system will be looking for your new user name.
 
Okay, if you used your user name as your sign in, and then have your name changed, your new name will work as the sign in. (y)
 
I see you old name appeared in The Goat's quote there Noobie, even though it's been changed.
 
I think that will happen on any name change as the quote within another members post becomes thier post, I think ?

Once you've clicked on your avatar, to the right of the top red bar, select account details then scroll down and you'll see your avatar and the ability to change it. From memory, the last time I did mine, the new file you select has to be .jpg or .png and has to be tiny, only about 32Kb or something. It took me ages faffing around on the Mac to get the photo I wanted to use reduced in size.

Usually if you send (email) the picture from a phone to yourself you have the option to select the size and it will reduce automatically before sending :unsure:

No need to select Account Details - just click straight on the image to edit it...

In the Account details, the only image you can change is the profile banner:cry:
