I'd have thought they could come up with a better design than humanoid for the tasks involved. Doesn't look like it'd take much to knock one over.

See the feet on Robbie The Robot in my post #4, nobody is knocking him over. Mind you with those legs and hand attachments I suspect he was designed by someone at the Acme Sex Toy Co.

A lot of what we are seeing is to prepare the way for vast numbers of people with no jobs and living on UBI.

The old employer/employee/privately owned business model is making way for a brand new, very different system.
