Japan Airlines trials humanoid robots as ground handlers
These robots may in future help clean cabins and operate ground support equipment.
They should have called it the Cyberdyne Systems 100.
Shagging the stewardessWonder what they will dream of on their time off?…
I'd have thought they could come up with a better design than humanoid for the tasks involved. Doesn't look like it'd take much to knock one over.![]()

See the feet on Robbie The Robot in my post #4, nobody is knocking him over. Mind you with those legs and hand attachments I suspect he was designed by someone at the Acme Sex Toy Co.I'd have thought they could come up with a better design than humanoid for the tasks involved. Trained to treat the word FRAGILE as a challenge.I wonder if they'll be programmed to recognise golf clubs or guitars, and lob them carelessly as per the human equivilents?
A lot of what we are seeing is to prepare the way for vast numbers of people with no jobs and living on UBI.Company here in Dublin in talks with staff 760 jobs probably lost to AI... well you invent systems to replace you don't be surprised when the system replaces you Duh
